Carpenters’ Workshop

Time Commitment

Monday or Tuesday 10 am til 5 pm or Wednesday 11 am til 5 pm.


Volunteers will adhere to all health and safety policies and COVID-19 protocols, making strict use of PPE and social distancing where appropriate. Volunteers will work alongside ex-rough sleepers to produce wooden products for sale in our shop, offer encouragement and positive advice as appropriate, and encourage trainees and support them in the workshop. They will be able to allow trainees to take a lead role and supervise as required. Full training on machinerywill be provided.

Skills Needed

Must be a team player with a desire to make a difference.  DIY experience is not essential. All safety footwear and PPE will be provided. A DBS check is required for this client-facing role.

You Will Gain Experience In

Helping trainees move forward in their journey learning valuable interchangeable skills and working alongside trainees and other volunteers to complete tasks.
