Covid has left many vulnerable people battling addictions and seeking purpose. Do you share our desire to walk alongside such individuals practically building hope and resilience and “life in all its fullness”?
Have you that wonderful combination of garden maintenance experience, the ability to work alongside vulnerable adults, loads of compassionate energy, and the skills to lead a small team?
If yes, then we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking to employ a Team Leader to run our established Gardening Service to:
– provide and oversee person-centred support to our “trainees” who are looking to escape homelessness and develop new purpose and hope for their lives.
– safely maintain the gardens of vulnerable households across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
– provide essential grounds maintenance for local churches.
This role will require someone who has initiative, flexibility, insight, compassion and passion to make a difference. Ideally, they will have experience of working with vulnerable adults, and experience of mental health or addiction.
We are also looking for someone who can relate well to those we work with including: staff, volunteers and partners from both local churches and the statutory sector. A person with a solid history of both garden maintenance and support work would be the ideal candidate.
